Only Fan Out is a side project, built and maintained by one person in spare time.

Fix it yourself first

• Reload the extension in chrome://extensions, then reload the ChatGPT, Claude or Grok tab. After an extension update the old tab cannot talk to the new one until the page reloads. This is the cause nine times out of ten.
• Check the capture toggle in Settings. If capture is off, nothing gets recorded.
• The side panel follows your active tab. If it shows the wrong conversation, click into the tab you want.
• Grok sometimes returns a Cloudflare block, which shows up as a failed re-read. Reload grok.com and try again.
• Open the Diagnostics tab. It shows what was captured, what was intercepted and any parser warnings. Most answers are there.

Report a bug

If the fixes above did not help, email gerald@axecute.space with the subject "Only Fan Out bug". A report I can act on has:

• Your Chrome version.
• Which engine: ChatGPT, Claude or Grok.
• A screenshot of the Diagnostics tab.
• An exported JSON of the conversation, if you can export one.

Reports without these usually cannot be reproduced, and reports that cannot be reproduced do not get fixed.

What to expect

There is no support desk and no promised response time. Bugs that break capture for everyone get fixed first. Anything that only affects one setup, or is a feature request, goes on the list and gets to when it gets to. The AI sites change their internals without notice, so a working feature can break overnight; when that happens, a fix usually follows within a few days once someone reports it with a Diagnostics screenshot.
